Susanna IC, well known for her amazing shawl designs, has created a beautiful crescent shawl for this month's Dream Club. Designed specially for the Alpaca Silk Wool Lace, you will be amazed at how large Ornata becomes after blocking with just 640 yards. The pattern is easy to follow, with a stockinette body and two small charts for the edging. Susanna used beads on her sample, but they are completely optional and instructions are given for both versions (beads not included in the kit). Her lovely design is a perfect match for the rainbow colors of this month's yarn.

Alpaca Silk Wool Lace. This month's yarn is a special base created just for the Dream Club. It is 50% Domestic Merino Wool, 25% Silk, 25% Alpaca, and ~640 yds/100g.
A new contest from Dream in Color!Starting with the November Dream Club, we will be doing a contest each month in our Dream Club Ravelry group. We host a KAL thread in the group each month, and at the end of the month we will be awarding one of our high-end skeins of yarn (retail value $30+) to one randomly chosen participant, and we will also award a bag of Smooshy to the LYS they purchased the kit from! To be eligible to win, the participant must post a picture of their FO in the thread, along with where they purchased the yarn. Any project knit with the Dream Club yarn is eligible, it doesn't have to use the club pattern. We are very excited about this, so we will be awarding one prize in November, 2 in December, 3 in January, and 4 in February!
